Compressed air dryers are divided into two types: refrigeration air dryers and adsorption air dryers. Adsorption air dryers are divided into non-heat type and micro-heat type according to the type of heating; waste heat regeneration adsorption dryer is commonly used. Because the compressed air contains 100% relative humidity, water is precipitated as it cools down in the pipeline, thus causing many drawbacks to the gas equipment. Adsorption dryer is the use of adsorbent adsorption characteristics, dry adsorption of compressed air, water, discharged by the automatic drainage valve and muffler, pressure dew point can generally reach -20 °C to -70 °C.


Adsorption air dryer specifications matching:

1. The processing flow of the dryer is close to that of the air compressor

2. The working pressure of the dryer is equivalent to the air pressure of the air compressor

3. The air compressor outlet temperature. In addition to moisture, compressed air contains oil, dust, and various odor components. The equipment that physically removes these compressed air pollutants is called a compressed air filter.


Compressed air filter options:

The optional compressed air filter must be increased step by step in the order of the filter accuracy level. It is not possible to skip the previous filter level and select the subsequent filter level directly. For example: P-stage filter (pre-filter), U-stage filter (Coarse filter), H-stage filter (pre-filter), F-stage filter (post-precision filter); the filter flow rate can be matched with the volume flow rate of the air compressor.


The role of gas tank:

The gas storage tank stores compressed air; a bufferable pressure, because the pressure of the compressed air discharged from the compressor has a certain fluctuation, after the installation of the gas storage tank, the compressed air that can use the gas end is more stable; Part of the water vapor has been formed into liquid droplets after being compressed by the air compressor. Most of these water droplets will deposit on the bottom of the gas tank when passing through the gas tank. There is a drain valve at the bottom of the gas tank, which is eliminated manually or automatically.


Gas tank selection:

When selecting the air tank, the pressure should be consistent with the working pressure of the air compressor. The volume is approximately 1/5-1/10 of the volume flow of the air compressor. If the environmental conditions permit, a large-capacity air tank can be selected. For storing more compressed air and better pre-water removal.
