PSA nitrogen making (hereinafter referred to as PSA nitrogen making) is a kind of advanced gas separation equipment, by the high quality of carbon molecular sieves (CMS) as adsorbent, using temperature change principle of pressure swing adsorption (PSA) air separation of preparing high purity nitrogen. Oxygen, nitrogen, molecular sieve on the surface of two gases in different diffusion rate, smaller diameter of gas molecule (O2) diffusion rate faster, more into the carbon molecular sieve pore diameter larger molecular N2 diffusion rate slower, less into carbon molecular sieve pores. Using carbon molecular sieve to the choice of nitrogen and oxygen adsorption differences, when the compressed air through the carbon molecular sieve adsorption tower, oxygen enrichment in the adsorption phase, enrichment of nitrogen in the gas phase, can make the separation of oxygen and nitrogen, under the condition of PSA for making nitrogen.
Its technological process is the crat cycle of the medium pressure turbine. From the air inhaled air compressor, air is compressed to the required pressure, then through the cooler after the final stage into freon, precooling unit is cooled to 5 ℃ or so into the purification device, in which remove moisture, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbon and other substances, enter the fractionating column. After purification of compressed air into the fractionating column (on) the main heat exchanger, and the main heat exchanger (below) to the gas, oxygen, nitrogen and fractions of heat transfer through the throttle valve with expander out after the cold air meet below the bottom of the evaporator, the tower for heat transfer, mass transfer process. Air next tower preassigned, then on the throttle to further fractionation tower, at the top of the tower to get pure nitrogen, fractions of tower of spare gas after recovery of cold energy in heat exchanger as clarifier regeneration with blowing cold, products of pure nitrogen gas through the pipeline to the user. The oxygen of the product is imported to the oxygen compressor after the water seal is connected to the oxygen tube.
