(Pressure Swing Adsorption) or Nitrogen Membrane Technology to generate Nitrogen Purity from 97% to 99.999%. High purity Nitrogen is generated by using compressed air and separating the 78% of the air that is already Nitrogen
while discharging the other gases. Hence, Nitrogen is allowed to flow freely through the outlet of the vessel. The Nitrogen molecules are then collected in storage tank for process use.
Advantages of A PSA Nitrogen Generator
Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) nitrogen generators are capable of producing high purity nitrogen gas from a single simple commodity, air. This purity can also be acquired through cryogenic systems, however, these are considerably more complex and expensive so can only be justified where consumption is extremely high. PSA technology, using Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) in many of its nitrogen generators to produce a continuous supply of high purity nitrogen.
